Tales of Famous Americans

I like Tales of Famous Americans. I got it from the library. It's a really cool book. It's about famous people. There's a lot, but these are the ones I know.
Pocahontas, she died when she was only 21 years old.
Benjamin Franklin helped his brother James in a printing office. He made sure all the words were spelled correctly.
I know George Washington was in the American Revolution.
Davey Crockett died at the Alamo.
Abraham Lincoln got shot by a man named John Wilkes Booth. If I had been there I would have been a sherriff and taken him to jail.
I was looking at a book called American heroes and Harriet Tubman was in it. There was a picture of her with a gun, so I think she had a gun.
The Wright brothers invented a propellered airplane. They both flew on it. Wilbur flew the longest distance.
Jackie Robinson was the very first baseball player that had black skin.
I know a couple things about Thomas Edison. I know he was an inventor. He invented the first lightbulbs. He was born when John Tyler was president and died when Herbert Clark Hoover was president.
Martin Luther King Jr. gave his speech at the Lincoln Memorial. He got shot by a man named James E. Ray. I know Martin Luther King Jr. gave his speech on the stairs right at the very top. I think it was on the stairs, but I'm not sure. There were people from the top of the Lincoln Memorial even all the way around the river. There were even more than 900 people. There was probably even 1900 people.
I know Yo-yo Ma plays the cello. Me and my sisters like yo-yo ma because his name is pretty funny. There is a kind of toy that is a yo-yo, but we like his name. This is how Yo-yo got the cello. He wanted to play a big intrument. So one day his dad came home with a big cello. And he still lives today.
I know Helen Keller had to write on her teacher's hand to get what she wanted.
I know a couple things about Sitting Bull. He shot his first buffalo when he was only ten years old. I know Sitting Bull fought in his first battle when he was only fourteen. He was in one of Buffalo Bill's Wild West shows. I know Sitting Bull got shot by a soldier. Sorry, I don't know the name of that soldier.
Maybe I can tell you more later.
